ABOUT US
Kilnamanagh AFC was founded back in 1978 by two men, Ned Kelly and Shay Barry.
Since then it has been an on going success and thousands of youths have worn the colours of Kilnamanagh AFC.
Ned and Shay laid the foundations and current committee is now charged with carrying the torch of the school boys, girls and senior teams which make up our four hundred members.
There have been many hard working and dedicated committee men and women, managers and coaches who have volunteered, served and represented the club since its establishment.
Without the past and present input of all of these volunteers the club could not have evolved into the wonderful club that Kilnamanagh AFC is today.
Our history could not be complete without mention for the man whose name everyone automatically associates with this club, Ned Kelly.
Ned Kelly as we all know, not only founded this club but gave a huge amount of his time and energy to it. We are left in no doubt that the effort he gave set the strong foundations that are in place today.
Your Club Needs You!
Kilnamanagh AFC is currently looking for volunteers to help in all aspects of running the club.
If you have the time we have a roll for you, from fund raising to, coaching and everything in between.
We are especially interested in hearing from parents who might be available to help with the academy training every Saturday morning. Given the enormous turnout of kids we need additional help to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
The club will give volunteers as much support as they need and will also help with training and development such as FAI approved Kick Start training courses which are the bedrock of all coaching badges.
